By the time it leaves our shop it performs like a new bike, because mechanically it is one. This isn't a Facebook Marketplace gamble or a bike someone wiped down and called "good condition." 1999 Bianchi Advantage- sized small/medium $439.00
There's a reason Bianchi has been building bikes since 1885 - they know how to make something that rides right. The 1999 Advantage is a lightweight chromoly steel hybrid built for pavement, bike paths and casual trail riding, with 700c wheels, an upright comfortable position, and smooth Shimano shifting that just works. It's the kind of bike that disappears under you, you stop thinking about the bike and just enjoy the ride. This one came out of our refurbish looking better than the day it left the factory - that deep metallic green is turning heads in the shop. It rides exactly as good as it looks.
1999 Trek 6000 - sized medium $495.00 SOLD
The late 90s produced some of the best mountain bike geometry ever built, and the Trek 6000 is a prime example. Lightweight aluminum frame, aggressive trail geometry, and a ride that feels planted and confident on dirt, roots and loose gravel. This one came equipped with a Shimano LX drivetrain - the same groupset serious trail riders were specifying back then, and still smooth and precise today. That iconic metallic blue isn't bad either.
