What bicycle brands do you service?

We service and repair all major brands of regular bikes and e-bikes including Trek, Electra, Specialized, Giant, Fuji, Felt, Scott, Cannondale, Aventon, Magnum bikes, Lectric, Canyon, Bianchi, Pinarello, Colnago, Orbea, BMC, Cervelo, Surly, Marin, Jamis, plus many more. On a case-by-case basis we will also service some higher-quality online brands. We do not service low-end department store bikes.

Why do I need bike service if nothing seems broken?

Bike service is about making sure everything works flawlessly when you want to ride and, most importantly, that you can ride confidently. Waiting until something actually breaks is usually more expensive than regular preventive service, especially in Florida where heat, humidity, and salty air are very hard on bicycles.

What condition should my bike be in when I bring it for service?

Accepted Answer

Please be realistic about your bike’s condition and your budget. A dirty 3+ year-old bike that has not been maintained will almost always need more than a simple checkup or Economy Tune-Up. Often these bikes require extra parts and labor to bring them back to safe, reliable riding condition, and we will quote accordingly.

What qualifications do your bike technicians have?

Experience counts, but so does continuous factory certification training. Our technicians have over 13 years of actual professional mechanical experience, plus full certifications in major bike component systems from Shimano TEC and SRAM. We do not count years of casual riding as mechanical experience.

What service levels do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We offer multiple tune-up and repair levels depending on your needs—from basic cleaning and lubrication of moving parts to full tear-down and rebuild services. In addition to tune-up packages, we also perform a wide variety of problem-specific repairs such as brake, shifting, wheel, and bearing service.

How fast can you complete my bike service?

Accepted Answer

Our standard goal is a 72-hour turnaround on most services, as long as required parts are in stock. For riders who need their bike back quickly, we offer a 24-hour express service upgrade for an additional $50. Express service is subject to availability, so please call ahead to confirm.

Question 7

How often should I get my bike serviced?

Accepted Answer

For most riders we recommend an annual tune-up. Depending on how often and how hard you ride, service can range from every few months to once a year. Regular service keeps your bike running smoothly and efficiently and extends the life of key parts. Florida’s humid, salty climate also means bikes here typically need more frequent maintenance.

How do you evaluate my bike and decide what service it needs?

Accepted Answer

When you bring in your bike we ask about any issues you have noticed, then quickly assess its overall condition, including tire wear and chain stretch. From there we recommend the appropriate service level. Once the bike is on the stand, we may find hidden wear or damage and will replace or repair what is needed using quality bike-shop parts, only calling for approval if something is unusually expensive.

Is there an extra charge for Shimano Di2 or SRAM AXS service?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Electronic shifting systems such as Shimano Di2 or SRAM AXS incur an additional service charge when we need to connect our diagnostic laptop for gear adjustments, firmware updates, and system checks. Diagnostic time for complex errors or problems may be billed separately.
